Cruise Overview:
Cruise Stunning Scotland
Departing from Southampton – an iconic maritime center that’s been the starting point for many a voyage – you’ll cruise around Scotland, exploring the country’s most bonny ports and teeing off at some of the world’s most celebrated golf courses. you’ll enjoy a relaxing day at sea before our early morning arrival to Edinburgh. Our overnight will provide two days to explore, so head to its historic heart and begin with a walk down The Royal Mile.
The next morning, arrive in Aberdeen. You’ll have plenty of time to visit Dunnottar Castle—a ruined medieval fortress perched on a cliff—or sample a pint of hand-drawn ale at the Prince of Wales. Walk the bustling, mile-long Union Street to peruse high-street shops and venture into local independent stores. Explore the spirit of Aberdeen’s maritime history in Footdee—a traditional fishing village full of quirky outbuildings.
Next, we sail to Invergordon for another day of tumbling waterfalls, rushing rivers, magnificent gardens, and serene lochs—including Loch Ness and its famous resident. Here, you’ll discover over 1,000 years of history at the dramatic Urquhart Castle, offering stunning views of Loch Ness.
Visit the fertile fields, heather-cloaked moors, and lakes of Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands, followed by a stop in Lerwick. Discover the capital of the Shetland Islands, home to a unique blend of Scandinavian and Scottish culture. Rocky cliffs and rich farmland are yours to explore on over 100 islands that embrace a slower, more authentic pace of life.
Dine on fresh-caught seafood and stroll the grounds of historic Lews Castle in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
