Multiple dining styles are available on your trip.  Choose from a more formal Dining experience in the Constellations Restaurant, where regional specialties are always featured. For more relaxed dining, lighter, buffet options are available in the True North Lounge, or head to McGeary’s Bar, an Irish pub serving traditional pub fare. Wherever you dine, lunch and dinner is always accompanied with complimentary local wine and beer, as well as soft drinks.

The large Sun Deck offers space to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the passing scenery.  Perhaps take a dip in the whirlpool, practice your putting or take a drink at the outdoor Bar.  One great new feature of these ships is the large Sky Deck Terrace.  At half a deck lower than the rear Sun Deck this area is accessible even when passing through locks and under bridges – particularity useful on cruises that pass along the Main river and Main Danube Canal.

Staterooms and suites on the middle and upper decks feature floor to ceiling windows, that drop down to create a French (Juliette) balcony at the touch of a button.  All have personal climate control, en-suite bathrooms, double or twin beds and TV, safe and mini-fridge.

Day 1: Arrive Munich, Embark Ship 

Fly from the UK to Munich. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your river ship in Nuremberg. This German city is the site of Hitler’s infamous rallies during World War II.

Day 2: Bamberg

One of the few German cities that wasn’t destroyed during World War II, Bamberg beckons your attention today. You’ll gain great insight during a locally guided tour of the historic city.

Day 3: Wurzburg 

Verdant hills and rich vineyards sit on the edge of Wurzburg. Admire its magnificent baroque palace, the Wurzburg Residence, and walk through Wurzburg Court Garden. Later, perhaps enjoy an optional visit to medieval Rothenburg, a true fairytale town.

Day 4: Miltenberg 

Enjoy true German hospitality as you are welcomed into the homes of friendly Miltenberg locals for coffee and cake.

Discover Miltenberg today, exploring this well-preserved town’s half-timbered buildings dating from the 15th to 18th century.  Return to your ship and enjoy time at leisure. As the sun sets, watch the lights of medieval towns slip past as you cruise through the night.

Day 5: Rudesheim, Rhine Gorge 

In Rudesheim, the Winzerexpress mini-train will take you to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Later, back on board, you will encounter the spectacular Rhine Gorge.

Day 6: Cologne, Bruhl  

INSIDER EXPERIENCE

Step back in time during a visit to the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Castle, the lavish residence of archbishop-elector Clemens August.

Disembark your ship in Cologne and drive to the town of Bruhl for your Insider Experience. Later, return to Cologne for free time.

Day 7: Amsterdam

Amsterdam’s network of canals is a sight to behold. Dock in the city’s heart and board a glass-top boat to discover its views. Back on land, enjoy some free time before a Farewell Dinner on board.

Day 8: Disembark Ship, Depart Amsterdam

After breakfast today, disembark your ship and be transferred to the airport in Amsterdam for your return flight to the UK.
