Itinerary Overview

DAY 1

London To Paris

Take Eurostar from London to Paris. When you arrive, check into your hotel and begin exploring the charms of Paris. Why not start with visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower in the Champ de Mars park? Towering more than 1,000 feet, the Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s most photographed attractions. Then there’s the Champs-Élysées, the most famous avenue in the city—and perhaps more famous than New York’s Times Square or London's Piccadilly Circus. If you have time to fit in one more stop today, go to Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the Roman Catholic church perched atop Montmartre. On Sundays, you can listen to the organ being played during Vespers and Mass, and from the church’s steps, you’ll be offered one of Paris’ most spectacular panoramas alongside musicians and hillside picnickers.  In the evening, find an authentic Parisian restaurant to enjoy dinner. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 2

Paris

Today get a great view across Paris using your skip the line Eiffel Tower tickets, then relax with a 1hr cruise along the Seine river. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 3

Paris

After two full days of exploring, you may think you’ve seen it all, but you haven’t. There are still plenty of classic landmarks and off the beaten path experiences to enjoy, like the Centre Pompidou’s vast public library, the Musée National d’Art Moderne, and the Jardin des Plantes, one of the most unique botanical gardens in France. In the Marais neighborhood, known as “Old Paris,” you’ll be greeted by cobblestone streets, hidden courtyards, and cozy cafes and bakeries. Peruse the sky lit passages with its boutiques, bookstores, antique shops, and Parisian gems. Last, but not least, visit the Louvre Museum. Located on the Right Bank of the Seine, the Louvre is the world’s largest museum. To best experience this sprawling historic monument, research the works or wings you want to visit and save the rest of the museum for future visits. (Overnight in Paris) B

DAY 4

Paris To Brussels

After breakfast this morning, take a high-speed direct Thalys train to Brussels (travel time is less than two hours). When you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day and evening exploring the city at your leisure. With its picturesque medieval streets and architecture, lively squares and boulevards, impressive landmarks, and delicious cuisine, there’s no telling what you’ll discover.

Visit the Grand-Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its main market square, local bars, and cafes. Between March and October, there is a daily flower market often accompanied with concerts and a light show at night. Other worthwhile stops include Hôtel de Ville, Place du Châtelain Market, and Musée du Cinquantenaire’s collection of ancient Egyptian sarcophagi and Meso-American masks. (Overnight in Brussels) B

DAY 5

Brussels

Today, enjoy breakfast and then continue getting to know this metropolis. Visit the Église Notre-Dame du Sablon in the Royal Quarter, the Napoleon III-styled palace of St-Gilles Town Hall, or Place du Jeu-de-Balle Flea Market for the quintessential Marolles experience. And no trip to Brussels would be complete without trying a pistolet (small round bread filled with delicacies) and some chocolate! At the Belgian Chocolate Village—literally a chocolate museum—you’ll can experience a tasting room, workshop, and tropical greenhouse with cacao trees. For a mesmerising array of cheeses, head to Crèmerie De Linkebeek in Grand Palace & Îlot Sacré.  In the evening enjoy one more of the city's finest exports – beer with a 2.5hrs organized tasting.  Dine on a filling bowl of moules and frites at any of the traditional restaurants around the Grand-Place, Chez Leon is highly recommended! (Overnight in Brussels) B

DAY 6

Brussels To Amsterdam

Following breakfast, travel on your own to the Bruxelles-Midi train station, which is located a short distance south of Brussels' city centre, and board your train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. When you arrive (travel time is just under three hours), check into your hotel and start exploring Europe’s most diverse destination. Check out some of the city’s world-class art museums, like the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, or the Stedelijk, and stroll along the picturesque canals lined by trees and unique houseboats. Craving something sweet and delicious? Try Amsterdam’s famous stroopwafel, which is made from two thin layers of grilled waffles stuck together with a caramel-like syrup! (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 7

Amsterdam

oday, have breakfast and then explore the city’s historic churches, such as the oldest: Oude Kerk. Stroll through the suburbs of Oost, take a photo of or with the “I Amsterdam” letters, and discover the Begijnhof—one of Amsterdam’s secret, secluded gardens. One of the highlights of your trip will certainly be a visit to the Anne Frank Museum. The canal-side house is where Ann Frank and her family hid for two years during WWII. To avoid long waits, arrive early in the morning, or after 7 pm during the summer. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 8

Amsterdam

On your final day in the city, enjoy breakfast and then spend your time seeing all the sights you didn’t get a chance to. Just outside the city, there’s the Zaanse Schaans museum, flower fields and famous flower market. You can picnic in the Vondelpark with its many sculptures (including one by Picasso), shop at Magna Plaza, take a peaceful walk through Amsterdamse Bos (a forest with lakes, meadows, and cafes), or a catch a film at the art deco Pathé Tuschinskitheater in Southern Canal Ring. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 9

Amsterdam TO London

After breakfast, take a local train from Amsterdam to Brussels, then Eurostar from Brussels to London. B
