Head to the ancient city of Leon today, and after checking in at your hotel head out to discover more about its vast history. (Overnight Leon)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then continue to explore the city, with its many churches, palaces and cathedral.  Leon is recognized for having the first parliamentary body in Europe way back in 1188! (Overnight Leon)

Take the train to Galicia today, on arrival into Santiago de Compostela make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay.  (Overnight Santiago de Compostela)

Learn more about the vast history of this city better thanks to private walking tour of its old town, then visit the ancient Cathedral which is the reputed burial site of St James and so the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.(Overnight Santiago de Compostela)

Day 9: Madrid

Make your way to the station for your train to Madrid this morning and enjoy the beautiful scenery en route.  Head to your hotel on arrival, then in the afternoon make use of your sightseeing pass included to get up close to some of the Worlds masterpieces in the Prado Museum.  (Overnight Madrid)

Your sightseeing pass gives you access a great list of sites and attractions today, including a tour of Las Ventas bull ring and a tour of the beautiful Royal Palace. In the evening you can toast your holiday at some of the best tapas bars around the iconic Plaza Mayor. (Overnight Madrid)
